Um, why bring up God?
Belief in God is an extremely personal matter, so why bring it up? It's embarrassing to talk about. People get preachy or judgmental. Or worse, they get violent or disrespectful. People can't seem to have a civil discussion about God.
It doesn't have to be that way.
God has been a pretty important topic for thousands of years. People have based their priorities, their relationships and the purpose of life and death all on the presence or absence of a god or belief system.
Isn't something like that important enough to explore-- at least in a safe and respectful way?
Sometimes "loving thy neighbor" might involve being willing to listen to them-- at least for 10 minutes. ;-)
The God in 10 Minutes podcast…
…is not a business and not-for-profit. (I’m doing podcasts as a hobby and liked the topic.)
… doesn’t represent a specific church or religious organization.
… wants to understand how people feel about God, whether or not they even believe in a god.
…lets people share those beliefs in a safe, open and non-judgmental way.
We’re here to listen, not here to sell or tell.
Nothing is for sale and no personally identifying information will be collected.
